バーガーキングのWhopper VirginやWhopper Sacrifice、マイクロソフトのI'm a PCなどで知られるエージェンシー「Crispin Porter + Bogusky」が自身の新しいサイトのベータバージョンをローンチ。

非常に面白いのはそのアプローチ。自身がリリースしたキャンペーンの反響を、好評、悪評ふくめ、テレビ・新聞と言ったマスメディアはもちろん、Youtubeやブログ、そしてTwitterなどのいわゆるソーシャルサイトの情報まで等価に、そしてリアルタイムに表示しており、展開したキャンペーンの影響が非常にわかりやすくなっています。

ソーシャルサイトを利用したサイトとしては、Modernista!が有名ですが、Modernistaがjavascriptをつかって、ソーシャルサイトをまるごと自らのサイトに取り込むというアプローチを取ったのに対して、このCPBのサイトはそれとは異なる手法をとり、各サービスのAPIを通じて、それぞれのキャンペーンに言及した記事/つぶやき/ムービーなどを取得して、それをリアルタイムに表示しています。

また近日中には、開発者向けに、リアルタイムに表示させるために使っているソースコードがオープンソースとして公開され、このCPBのサイトと同様のサイトを作ることを可能にするようです。

Twitterでのイラン報道やGoogle Wave等で注目されるリアルタイム性の高いウェブを取り入れた機動力に加えて、それをさらにクローズドにするのではなく、開発者に公開するという姿勢が本当にすばらしい。[2009/07/01追記]s_t_r_i_p's Bookmarks で指摘されているように、ウェブ上にあふれるPros&Consをフィルタリングせずに表示するという姿勢とそれを許すことができるクライアントとの関係を構築できているという事実も忘れてはなりません。

Crispin Porter + Bogusky has just launched the beta version of their own new site.

You can recognize how much buzz CPB and their works produce through the site, because you can see how people tweet and blog about them in a real time. Modernista! has already taken the power of the social site to their own site with capturing all by using javascript. Unlike them, CPB has got the information re their work through Web API of each web services. And the source code of the site will be open-sourced.

Many people are getting interested in "real time web" like Iran issue on Twitter or Google Wave, so I admire the quick thinking of taking it to their own site and the openness that they will provide the source code with developers.
